The suspect, Johnson, was least seen wearing blue shorts and a red sweat shirt.
Caution:
Kevin Johnson is wanted for murder and should be considered armed and extremely dangerous.

Wanted for the Murder of a
Missouri Police Officer
When: Tuesday, July 5, 2005 7:30 p.m.
Suspect: Kevin Johnson, AKA Kevin Tatum, Rockhead.
What Happened: Kirkwood, Missouri Police Officer Sgt. William McEntee, 43, responded to a fireworks complaint. While handling the call, he was approached by the suspect, Kevin Johnson. According to news reports, Johnson began mumbling to Sgt. McEntee and then pulled out a handgun and opened fire on the sergeant for no apparent reason, striking Sgt. McEntee in the face and head. Sgt. McEntee was struck several times during the ambush and died later that evening.
About Sgt. William McEntee: There is much conflicting information being reported, but this is what we have so far. William McEntee was a 24-Year-Veteran who began his career with the Kirkwood Police Department in 1981. He was married and the father of three children ages 7, 10, and 13. In his spare time, the 6'4 gentle giant coached little league teams.
About the Kirkwood Police Department:
The City of Kirkwood Police Department serves a 9.2 square mile community of approximately 28,000 residents. The department is made up of approximately 55 officers and 18 civilian staff members. Chief Jack Plummer is the department's chief of police.
