I need a answer to this matter.My son left a police dept and got a new job with a shreiff dept in wi.When he was working for his first employer he got a federal grant in his name to purchase a bullet proof vest.His old chief says he has to turn it in.Is this true?He turned in everything that was written on the form the gave him the vest was not on that.Could use some feed back.Yoy can e-mail at nicholas47@centurytel.net Thank-You, Amy52
My opinion is that since he had obtained a Federal Grant IN HIS NAME that the vest is HIS and no one else's, including his former employer, so, that former employer can "go fly a kite"!!!
