Heard this from another officer. The setting - a medium city with low income/high crime areas nearby. Officer on patrol notices a vehicle driving slower that usual, circling the downtown area. Officer follows this vehicle for a few "laps" and is about to initiate a traffic stop to investigate the matter further when the occupants seemingly notice the patrol car and stop on their own - signaling their desire to contact the officer. The Officer pulls alongside to find out what they need. Well, the mature occupants mention that they are looking for one of the hotels located downtown (they happened to have been circling it) The officer brings their attention to the direction in which it can be seen. The occupants thank the officer, and just before pulling away, they mention that they are from out of town, attending...

...a convention for Alzheimers.

I LOVED IT, RTPCOP. I sure hope you have more stories, though, and, if they are all that good, we'll be laughing till we can't laugh any longer.
